POEM

-->
A FLOWER

A flower
May be given
To express your love
Without words..
A flower..
May be put on the tomb
To make the soul believe
That you loved it deeply once
And you have nothing else
To grasp so dear to your bosom..
A flower...
May be hold up
To say you need peace
May it be tramped to earth
Along with you
You become the icon of
Sacrifice for peace..
And somebody will place
A flower
On your grave.

SPEECH

A speech on The Importance of Caring and protecting Aged parents

Respected chairperson, distinguished guests, teachers parents and dear friends,

I think Ian very fortunate for getting this opportunity to speak about The importance of caring and protecting aged parents. As we know people have become more self centered and selfish in the modern society. All are running after money and earning money by any means has become the ultimate aim of life. Meanwhile they forget moral values and moral ethics. We are more concerned about our rights than our duties.

Old people are the backbone of a society. They are the paragons of knowledge and experience. They can lead us through the right path. However the younger generation consider them as a burden and misfit hey take the older parents are obstacles in their way of achievement do we forget ,it is because of their sacrifice we can achieve anything in our life?We need their love and care for till our wings are strong enough to fly up.The we easily forget them .It is not fair. Have you heard about the proverb”what we sow so we reap “? You know age is not stable. Our age is also growing fast. Once we also become aged .We have to reap the consequence of what we do today.

We think old age homes are the remedy for the problems of old people. But remember one thing ,the aged parents need the presence, love care and protection of their children and grand children. When we feel to neglect them ,think about the tender moments of love and sacrifice they gave to you. And remember they were the stepping stones on your path of life.

If we desert our parents we will certainly be deserted by God. With these words I conclude my speech.

My journey
I am wandering insearch of peace
Nowhere I could find
Only peace
My soul tired of my foot
Walked away
Deserting me in the street
How can I return
Without my soul...?
I can't come back till my
Soul returns
It is up to you....
Wait for me or not
How long will you?
